13 Day Kailash Mansarovar Pilgrimage

The inner parikrama of Kailash Mansarovar from Kathmandu is a rustic journey of thirteen days. We will go through Nepalgunj and Simikot. Then we will stop at Purang. After that, we will go to Mansarovar, then to Mount Kailash, to trek all around it!

13-Day Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Kathmandu is an inner parikrama quest that has everything. You get to be spiritual while going on an adventure in the mountains — and finally, learn about the local culture! You start in Kathmandu. Then go to Nepalgunj. From there, you go to Simikot and Purang, which are hidden away in the Himalayas.

You will see how beautiful Mansarovar Lake is. You can take part in some holy rituals. After that, you go to Darchen, which is the place where people start the tour around Mount Kailash. Dirapuk: Parikrama Day 1 – Darchen to Dirapuk

First, you need to drive to Yamdwar. Then you can begin your 10-km trek.
Walk towards Dirapuk and will see Mount Kailash on the way.

Dirapuk: Parikrama Day 2 – Charansparsh of Kailash

You trek around 10 km, whichl take arround 5-6 hours.

Zuthulpuk: Parikrama Day 3 – Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk via Dolma La Pass

Get up early for the hardest day of the trip.
Today, we are going to trek 22 km, a 7-8 km very steep climb, and a 13-14km plain walk.
Climb up to Dolma La Pass, the yatra's highest point.
See Gauri Kund and go through Shivasthal.
Enjoy the scenery as you go down toward Zuthulpuk.
Stay the night in Zuthulpuk.
