Early in the morning after a healthy breakfast, set out towards Gurudongmar Lake, at the height of 17000 feet. On your way, you will see the dry, challenging Chopta Valley. Return by lunchtime and afterwards start on your drive to Lachung. Check into your hotel by late evening and spend the night at this new location.
Explore the small mountain village of Lachung and reach the Yumthang which is known as Valley of Flowers with the Lachung River flowing through its centre. You can also visit the Yumthang Zero Point if you have time (additional charges applicable). Return to Gangtok by nighttime.
