5. Activities at Beaches of Alleppey

7. Spectacular Adoor Gajamela

The Gajamela festival is one of the most famous festivals in Kerala and it is celebrated for around 10 days in the month of January to February. At this festival, you can see around 100 beautifully dressed and decorated elephants. To decorate the elephant several jewels and ornaments are used, and the elephants really look stunning. You should take care of your belonging because thousands of people arrive at the location to witness the Gajamela in Alleppey.

The activity duration is of around 3 hours and to capture the memory of those hours you can take your camera along but you have to be careful that it won’t fall in the water.
