Sippighat Agricultural Farm is located 15 km away from Port Blair on the way to Wandoor village and covers 80 acres of cultivated land. This fame is established in 1959 and converted into Horticulture in 2003. The firm is run by the Central Government Agriculture Institute where students study on cultivation and improvement of spice and medicinal plants. The farm is beautifully surrounded by green plants and trees and is home to many species of birds. Many bird lovers and ornithologists visit here for studies as well as birdwatching.
