This island is located about away 30km away from Port Blair, near Wandoor Beach. First, you have to travel by road from Port Blair to Wandoor Beach then here you need to take a government ferry and a private boat from Wandoor Beach they will drop you around 20-30 minutes at Red Skin Island. There are many regular government buses and taxis available from Port Blair once you reach Wandoor Beach. Here they also provide information about nearby located islands like Jolly Buoy Island, & Viper Island.

If you like to visit here then November-February is the best time to explore this island and the nearby sightseeing of Andaman because during these days we feel chilly and not too cold. In Monson Season is not considered to travel in Andaman because of the heavy waterfall.
