Anamudi Peak is the highest peak in Kerala and is 2690 meters high. The place is popular among trekkers and being at the height of the peak offers panoramic views of nature. The Anamudi Peak is surrounded by Eravikulam National Park and the place has the largest population of Asian Elephants in India. The peak is also famous for a flower Neela Kurinji which blossoms once in 12 years. If you can visit the peak except for February to March because Anamudi Peak is closed to tourists during this time.

3. Eravikulam National Park

This Park is spread over 97 sq. km. and situated at a great height. Earlier the place was a wildlife sanctuary but in 1978 it was declared a National Park and is managed by the Kerala Department of Forest and wildlife. One of the major attractions of the national parks is the rare Nilgiri Tahr and various flora and fauna. To keep the environment of the National park pollution-free entry of vehicles is not allowed. The forest department organizes the trip and so only a few mini-buses are allowed.

6. Top Station

The top station is the highest point in Munnar and is famous for its low-lying clouds which give a perfect panoramic view of the surroundings. The top station serves as the delivery point of tea to the state. Once every 12 years you can see rare Neelarkunji shrubs these shrubs blossom with blue flowers and due to these beautiful flowers, the whole mountain seems blue in colour.

While exploring the place you can also interact with tea pickers. To reach the top of the station you have different options to choose from such as trekking, mountain biking, and ropeway ride. The roads to the top are beautiful and perfect for biking and trekking.

9. Blossom Park
