Here everybody is not allowed, that’s why this beach is not famous like other Beaches of Andaman. If you like to visit here then you have to take prior permission from Andaman Local Authority. This beach is very well developed; you can see many coconut trees, white sand with crystal clear blue seawater, and evergreen circumjacent nature. Avis Beach is developed by Environment Department Andaman and they also plant thousands of coconut trees on the island due to this reason this island is also famous as “Coconut Island”. How To Reach Avis Island & Beach
This sightseeing is located in Mayabuder and 230 km away from Port Blair. There are many regular private and government buses are available from Port Blair and will take 5-8 hours to reach Mayabuner after that you can hire a private boat to reach here.
Best time to visit Avis Island & Beach
November – March is considered as best timing to visit Mayabuder, Andaman. Most of the travelers visit during these months because during this time climate is more pleasant and the temperature stays between 21°C – 30°C and you will feel less humid during your traveling.
In monsoon season, Andaman receives heavy rainfall roads become more slippery. During these months adventure and water activities are not allowed that’s why monsoon season is not recommended to travel in Andaman.
