1. Nanda Devi National Park

This is situated at the second-highest peak in India. At the park, you can see some of the rarest flora and fauna. In 1982 the park was declared a UNESCO world heritage site to protect the region. At the park, you can see varied species of mammals, birds, plants, and butterflies. Tourists can visit the park from May to October because the place remains closed for six months a year.

2. Kalpavriksha

A fun fact about the temple is that the tree is evergreen, and it had never shed a leaf to date. To reach the tree you need to climb through terrain which is quite challenging.

3. Ropeway in Joshimath
